Parts for Altair?
I'm restoreing an Altair 8800B -- and am in need of parts.
Does Stockly electronics sell parts (not in a complete kit) for these old Altairs? Thanks, Pete Roemer |

I could supply parts, but not until the current orders and promises have been met...
For the power supplies, you can buy your own from where I get them. You may want to get a higher wattage 7.5v supply, like 150 or 200W if you are retrofitting an altair with a ton of memory cards. I never had a problem with mine when I had ~6 8k cards in it, each with 32 ram chips. Look here for the power supplies http://www.stockly.com/forums/showth...power+supplies |

Front nameplate , replacement part
I'm looking for a 1" metal nameplate at the bottom of my 8800a machine. At the moment my plan was to look for a company nearby to make a replica of the trim in reference to the second Altair I own that is fortunately complete.
Please let me know your current part status and if it is possible to get one replica nameplate for my machine.
